The Prison Library Outreach donates interfaith spiritual books to prison inmates, as a source of comfort and happiness, to support their well-being and rehabilitation.

Lalitamba Saranam (Frederick’s Place)

Lalitamba Saranam (fondly known as Frederick’s Place after our cat mascot) is a homestyle shelter in the heart of New York City. Through Street Outreach, we offer meals, healthy snacks and bottled water, prayer cards, books, toiletries, and social services leaflets, as well as warm blankets and clothing, for our brothers and sisters who are living on the street.

We also continue to serve with a telephone referral service.

The shelter has been affiliated with the UN-CSVGC and also the Legion of Mary, as a service project.
