International Day of Peace
Monday, September 21; 12 noon
Please join us in observing a global minute for peace to honor the International Day of Peace. The United Nations theme for this year’s International Day of Peace is Invest in Peace–For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day. This is a day of international non-violence and ceasefire, established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1981. At noon, people around the world pause in a global minute of silent prayer for peace (in the local time zone), creating a ripple effect around the world. Be a part of the change you want to see in the world.
